Individuals 16 and 17 years of age must provide written evidence, such as a withdrawal form, verifying that they are not enrolled in a public, church, or private secondary school. Home-schooled students who have never enrolled in secondary school and students who attended school in another state or county may provide as evidence a letter from the public school superintendent responsible for the education of students ion their current residential area, verifying that they have not enrolled. Any enrolled adult education student who subsequently enrolls in a public, church or private secondary school becomes ineligible for continued adult education services. Verification of eligibility must be submitted along with the enrollment form for all 16 and 17 year old students.
