NEW Summer 2010 Pell Grants

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) enacted on August 14, 2008, authorized "year round Pell Grants" beginning the Summer 2010 for those students who are wishing to accelerate their academic progress.

In order to take advantage of this funding for the Summer Term 2010, students must (1) be eligible for Pell Grant, (2) be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress Standards, and (3) must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 semester hours for the Summer Term.

No additional application process is required for the Summer Term. Revised 2009-2010 Award Letters will be mailed beginning Monday, April 19, 2010. Any questions regarding your eligibility for a Summer Pell Grant should be addressed to the Financial Aid Office.
