The libraries house resources primarily pertaining to the Central Alabama Community College curriculum. Professional librarians employ a discerning collection development policy that insures a quality collection for use by CACC students.

The Libraries are not open on Saturday and Sunday and the schedules are subject to change during Holidays and Academic Breaks.

Getting a Library Card
Library cards are available to students free of charge. If you will come to the circulation desk and fill out the form a card will be issued to you in a matter of minutes.

Checking Out Materials
Library books may be checked out on either campus for a two-week period subject to renewal. Reference books, magazines, periodicals, pictures, records, tapes, videos, filmstrips and other audiovisual materials, and the Alabama Room collection are in-house resources and do not circulate.

Library Fines
Library fines are $.25 cents per day per book that is overdue. This fine must be paid before the end of the semester in order to keep holds from being placed on your grades, transcripts and registering fro the next semester. Fines for reserve material is $.50 per day.
