Transitional Education Program Outcomes

 

Program Intended  Outcomes

Assessment Criteria & Procedures

1.  Transitional students will successfully complete transitional coursework on the first attempt.

1.  75% of transitional students will successfully complete coursework on the first attempt in English, Mathematics & Reading.

2.  Transitional students will continue their education the semester following their initial transitional coursework.

2. 90% of transitional students will continue their education in the semester following their initial transitional coursework.

3.  After completing the highest level transitional course, transitional students will successfully complete with a “C” or better the appropriate college-level English and/or Mathematics course(s).

3. 75% of transitional students will successfully complete college-level English and/or Mathematics courses.

4.  Transitional students will be satisfied  with the transitional education program at CACC.

4. 75% of the transitional students will indicate satisfaction on the Transitional Education Program Student Survey.

5.  Transitional students will experience academic and personal growth.

5. 75% of transitional students will achieve goals delineated upon college entrance (for example: obtainment of employment, certificate or degree, etc.)

6.  Faculty college-wide will be satisfied with the academic performance of transitional students.

6. 75% of faculty will indicate satisfaction with the academic performance of transitional students on the Transitional Education Program Instructor Survey.
