Meeting - Evaluation Subcommittee Minutes June 28, 1:30 p.m.
Nursing Conference Room, Childersburg

Present: Dr.
Melenie Bolton and Laura Brown
As stated at the June 11, 2004, QEP meeting, a subcommittee of
Dr. Melenie Bolton and Laura Brown would work to formulate a
plan for Transitional Education Division Goal 5:
Formulate a comprehensive, systematic program evaluation plan
for transitional studies.
Reviewing the objectives for goal 5 as determined by the
Transitional Education Subcommittee and noting the contents of
NADE’s Professional Standards and Evaluation Committee’s
Self-Evaluation Guides, evaluation components will be divided
into groups. Suggestions for groups include the following:
I. Mission, Goals, and Objectives (NADE Section 1)
II. Program (NADE Sections 2, 11, 13, 14, 15)
III. Organization (NADE Sections 3, 4, 10)
IV. Resources (NADE Sections 5, 6, 7)
V. Integrity (NADE Sections 8, 9,12)
A presentation format to chart such information as the
component, person responsible, assessment frequency, assessment
method, report of data, and documentation will be developed. A
binder for each data will be on file.
A draft of the evaluation plan will be presented to the
Transitional Education Subcommittee by mid-August.
