Transfer Scholarship Opportunity -- The University of Alabama

The University of Alabama will provide a Presidential Scholarship to an outstanding student transferring to The University of Alabama from Central Alabama Community College. The Presidential Scholarship covers the cost of in-state tuition for four semesters, provided the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. To receive the scholarship, the student must have earned an associate’s degree from Central Alabama Community College and maintained at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. The value of the Presidential Scholarship will adjust as the cost of tuition increases. The current value of this scholarship is $19,652 over four semesters.

Spring 2015 Student ID schedule

Central Alabama Community College will begin making student identification (ID) cards for new students enrolling the Spring 2015 Semester during the months of January and February. Students should plan to have their ID made on the campus where they enrolled in courses for the spring term. In addition, students should present their driver's license or picture ID, and a copy of their printed class schedule in order to have their IDs made. ALL STUDENTS ENROLLED AT THE COLLEGE ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A STUDENT ID AND SHOULD HAVE THEM MADE DURING THE TIMES ADVERTISED BELOW. The IDs are not only good for identifying you as a CACC student, but for discounts at restaurants, stores and other venues that provide discounts to students. No additional make-up days will be provided.

Student Success Workshop

Central Alabama Community College is offering Student Success Workshops and Seminars to all students. These seminars are designed to help students develop the personal skills necessary to be successful in their course work. Moreover, these workshops are designed to assist students in developing skills that will help them obtain their life goals, as well as their educational and career goals. All CACC students are invited to attend these free workshops.
