CACC received notice of three (3) confirmed positive tests for COVID-19 the week of January 4. One (1) faculty member and one (1) staff member on Childersburg campus and one (1) staff member on Alexander City campus. Contract tracing was completed for all cases.
In addition, a total of 6 positive cases was reported over the holiday break. (4 staff members from Alexander City and 2 staff members from Childersburg)
CACC continues to follow all medical protocols from state and national health authorities and will continue all efforts in compliance with social distancing, face coverings, and travel limitations. The College is committed to keeping you updated on the local COVID-19 risks and will provide direction to staff, faculty, students, and families with additional instruction as appropriate.
