Welding
Program Overview
The Welding program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to join, cut, and shape metal materials using various welding techniques. Students receive hands-on training in processes such as MIG welding, TIG welding, stick welding, and arc welding, along with an understanding of blueprint reading, metallurgy, welding safety, and equipment maintenance. The program also covers the use of welding tools, inspection techniques, and the ability to work with different metals and alloys. Graduates are prepared for careers as welders, fabricators, and welding inspectors, working in industries such as manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, and automotive. This program ensures that students develop both the technical skills and industry knowledge necessary to excel in the welding profession.

Certification
While pursuing the Welding AOT degree and upon successful completion of specific courses, the stackable Basic Welding Short-Term Certificate and Welding Certificate will be awarded to students.
