Medical Assisting Technology
Program Overview
The Medical Assisting Technology program provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to perform both clinical and administrative tasks in healthcare settings. Students receive hands-on training in areas such as patient care, medical terminology, medical office management, billing and coding, and laboratory procedures. The program covers essential topics including anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, infection control, and patient communication. Graduates are prepared to work as medical assistants in a variety of settings, including doctors' offices, hospitals, clinics, and outpatient care centers. With a strong emphasis on both technical proficiency and interpersonal skills, this program prepares students for a rewarding career in healthcare, with opportunities for growth in specialized medical fields.
