Program Overview

The LPN to RN Mobility Program is designed for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) seeking to advance their careers by becoming Registered Nurses (RNs). This bridge program builds upon the foundational nursing knowledge and clinical experience LPNs already possess, facilitating a seamless transition into the role of a registered nurse.

Why get into the LPN to RN Mobility Program at CACC?

Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for gathering information about patients using communication, physical assessment, and analytical skills; administering medications; performing invasive and non-invasive procedures; communicating with patients and their family members, peers, and other health care professionals in an effective manner; and teaching patients and their families to promote or restore health.

Classes are held only on the Alexander City and Childersburg campuses and are only admitted one time per year for the fall semester.
