Central Alabama Golf Qualifies for NJCAA National Championship; CACC Head Coach Daniel Allen Named NJCAA Southeast District Coach of the Year.

Central Alabama Community College golf delivered a strong postseason showing, finishing runner-up at the NJCAA Division I Southeast Regional Championship held April 20–21 at Lagoon Park Golf Course.

Entering the final round nine shots behind Palm Beach State, the Trojans made an early push—cutting the deficit by three at the turn—but couldn’t close the gap, finishing at +12 as a team. Palm Beach State claimed the title at +6, with Eastern Florida State College placing third at +21.

CACC placed five golfers inside the top 15, led by Grant Goslin, who finished even par to earn runner-up honors and a spot on the All-Tournament Team. Joining Goslin on the All Tournament Team was Zane Aiken with a final-round 70 that lifted him to +1 overall, while Haydan Canary tied for 12th at +9. Easton Haworth and Kian Bystol-Flores each finished at +10, tying for 15th.

Head coach Daniel Allen was named NJCAA Southeast District Coach of the Year, recognizing the Trojans’ consistent high-level performance throughout the season.

With the runner-up finish, CACC advances to the NJCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship, set for May 12–15 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
