Central Alabama Community College Celebrates Its Outstanding Student-Athletes Named to NJCAA All-Academic Teams

ALEXANDER CITY, AL – Aug 7, 2023 – Central Alabama Community College (CACC) proudly recognizes the achievements of its exceptional student-athletes who have been honored as members of the NJCAA All-Academic Teams. Their dedication to both their sports and academics showcases the exemplary spirit of the Trojan community.

First Team Honorees Include:
• Bryant Armstrong, Golf
• Macks Bishop, Baseball
• Jordan Henderson, Softball
• Kelbi Johnson, Softball
• Brooke Milner, Softball
• Ty Smith, Baseball
• Lily Truchet, Tennis
• Blakely Valdez, Tennis

Second Team Distinctions Were Awarded to:

• Campbell Hecklinski, Softball
• Cian Hughes, Golf

• Tucker Starling, Baseball

President Jeff Lynn expressed his pride, stating, “At CACC, we believe in nurturing the holistic growth of our students. These student-athletes are shining examples of what one can achieve with dedication, passion, and perseverance. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments.”

Athletic Director Steve Lewis added, “Balancing academic responsibilities with athletic commitments is no easy feat. The students named to the NJCAA All-Academic Teams exemplify what it means to be a Trojan athlete. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and the support of the CACC community.”
