Childersburg, AL — The Central Alabama Community College (CACC) Adult Learning Program has completed the 2025–2026 program year with 133 students earning a GED or High School Diploma, the highest number in the program's history.
This record-breaking achievement reflects the determination of students and the dedication of the Adult Learning faculty and staff who serve communities throughout Central Alabama. Never before has the program celebrated as many graduates in a single year.
"Our students have shown incredible perseverance," said Lynn Chambers, Director of Adult Learning at Central Alabama Community College. "Every GED and High School Diploma represents a brighter future for our students and their families. Reaching 133 graduates is a testament to the hard work of our students, instructors, and community partners."
The Adult Learning Program provides free instruction to adults seeking to earn a high school credential while preparing for college, workforce training, and better career opportunities. Many graduates continue their education at Central Alabama Community College or enter the workforce with new confidence and skills.
"This milestone belongs to our students who never gave up on their goals," Chambers added. "We are honored to be part of their journey and look forward to helping even more adults achieve success in the coming year."
