CACC Softball Defeats ESCC 5-3 to Open ACCC Region Championship

Alabaster, AL- Following a first round bye, CACC Softball opened the ACCC Region Championship Tournament with a 5-3 win over ESCC.
The Trojans built a 2-0 lead before ESCC tied the game in the fourth inning. The Trojan offense responded in the fifth inning when McKinley Allen led off with a double to deep left. She scored when C Olivia Brackner hit a towering home run to left, and grabbed a 4-2 lead. Each team added one more run to close out the scoring.
Kayden Tarvin went the distance in the circle, throwing 7 inings and striking out six. CACC will face MMI in the winners baracket final Friday at 2pm.
