ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Central Alabama Community College (CACC) has announced the launch of a new Student Success Initiative designed to strengthen academic support services and improve student outcomes across its campuses. The initiative will focus on expanded tutoring services, enhanced advising, and new technology resources to help students stay on track toward graduation.

The program will be implemented across the college’s primary locations in Alexander City and Childersburg, providing additional support to both traditional and nontraditional students. College officials say the initiative reflects CACC’s continued commitment to helping students succeed academically and professionally.

“Student success has always been at the heart of our mission,” said a college representative. “By expanding the services we provide and improving access to resources, we can help ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their goals.”

As part of the initiative, students will have access to expanded tutoring hours, workshops focused on study skills and time management, and additional academic advising sessions. The college will also introduce new digital tools to help students monitor their progress and connect with campus resources more easily.

The initiative will also encourage collaboration between faculty, advisors, and student support staff to identify students who may need additional assistance early in the semester. Officials say this proactive approach will help remove barriers and keep students moving toward completion of their certificates or degrees.

CACC leaders believe the new initiative will strengthen the college’s ability to prepare students for transfer opportunities and entry into the workforce. By aligning academic support with career-focused programs, the college aims to ensure graduates are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s job market.
