Central Alabama Community College (CACC) welcomed Alabama District 30 Senator Clyde Chambliss to campus on Thursday, November 6, where he presented a contribution to support the college and its ongoing work with students and communities across central Alabama.
Senator Chambliss has long been an advocate for education and workforce development. His contribution will help CACC continue expanding opportunities for students while supporting programs that strengthen local communities and prepare students for high-demand careers.
“We appreciate Senator Chambliss and his continued support of Central Alabama Community College,” said CACC President Jeff Lynn. “He has always been a strong voice for education and workforce training in our state. His partnership helps us continue providing students with the tools they need to succeed.”
The Senator spoke about the important role CACC plays in preparing Alabama’s workforce.
“CACC is doing what Alabama needs by preparing students for meaningful careers and meeting the needs of business and industry across our state. The work taking place here is building a stronger workforce and a stronger future for Alabama. I am proud to support the leadership and vision that continue to move this college forward,” said Senator Clyde Chambliss.
The contribution will help fund ongoing efforts at CACC to provide affordable, high-quality education and workforce training through its campuses in Alexander City, Childersburg, Prattville, and Talladega.
