Trojan Golf in Third After Second Round at the NJCAA Golf Championship

CACC Golf Tied for Third at NJCAA National Championship

The Central Alabama Community College men’s golf team is tied for third place after two rounds at the NJCAA National Golf Championships being played at Sand Creek Station Golf Club.

Indian Hills Iowa Community College currently leads the tournament at 8-over par, followed by McLennan Community College at +11. CACC  is in third at +14 heading into Thursday’s round.

Easton Haworth has paced CACC through two rounds and is currently third individually at 3-under par after shooting rounds of 73 and 68. Zane Aiken is tied for sixth place following rounds of 74 and 70.

Other CACC scores include Kian Bystol Flores (83-71), Hayden Canary (73-81), and Grant Goslin (80-82).

Golfers have faced windy conditions throughout the tournament, and Thursday’s forecast calls for wind gusts of 25-30 mph as CACC attempts to move up the leaderboard in the final rounds.
