Trojans Take Early Lead at ACCC Championship
MUSCLE SHOALS, AL — The NJCAA No. 3-ranked Central Alabama Community College men’s golf team opened strong Monday, firing an 8-under par team score to take the early lead after the first round of the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Tournament at Cypress Lakes Golf Club.
The Trojans were paced by Easton Haworth, who carded a 3-under 68 and is currently tied for the individual lead. Haworth shares the top spot with Preston Eastwood of Southern Union State Community College.
Grant Goslin and Zane Aiken each added rounds of 2-under 69, while Kian Bystol-Flores posted a 1-under 70. Haydan Canary rounded out the scoring with an even-par 71.
The ACCC Championship is a 54-hole event, with two rounds remaining as CACC looks to maintain its momentum and capture the conference title.
