Become a certified Marine Technician at Central Alabama Community College! As the only college in the state to offer this program, Central Alabama will prepare you for a successful career in the Marine industry!
In just 4 semesters, You will apply technical knowledge and skills to repair outboard and inboard engines; test, maintain and repair steering and electrical systems; repair metal, wood, and fiberglass hulls and learn how to balance props and drive shafts.

Truck Driving Program
The Commercial Truck Driver Training Program is a 6-week non-credit course that gives individuals an approach to understanding and applying practical guidelines to the laws related to driving a commercial truck. Central Alabama Community College’s goal is to provide the knowledge, skills, professionalism and attitude necessary to produce graduates who are prepared for entry-level employment in the Commercial Transportation Industry. The student who successfully completes the course earns a Class A Commercial Driver License.
