Experience Theatre & Music at CACC
Central Alabama Community College offers students and the community opportunities to explore theatre, music, and live performance. Through Fine Arts coursework, performances, and special events, CACC celebrates creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression.
Located in the Health, Education, and Arts Complex (HEA) on the Alexander City Campus, the CACC Theatre provides a welcoming venue for theatrical productions, musical performances, college programs, and community events.

Performing Arts at CACC
Students can explore theatre and music through Fine Arts courses, performances, and special events. These opportunities are available to students across CACC's academic programs, regardless of their field of study.
Theatre Appreciation
THR 120 – Theatre Appreciation
Theatre Appreciation introduces students to the art of theatre, including the elements of theatrical production and live performance. Students develop a greater understanding of theatre as an art form and its role in culture and society.

Music Appreciation
MUS 101 – Music Appreciation
Music Appreciation explores musical styles, traditions, history, and culture, helping students develop a deeper understanding of music and its role in the performing arts.

The CACC Theatre
The CACC Theatre is a 312-seat performance venue located in the Health, Education, and Arts Complex on the Alexander City Campus. Designed to accommodate a variety of events, the theatre supports live performances, presentations, ceremonies, college programs, and community activities.
The facility provides a professional setting for performers, presenters, and audiences, supporting CACC's commitment to educational and cultural opportunities throughout the community.

- Seating Capacity: 312
- Facility Use: College events, performances, presentations, and approved community activities
- Food and Beverages: Food and drinks are not permitted inside the theatre.
- Technical Equipment: Theatre lighting, sound, and audiovisual systems may only be operated by CACC-authorized personnel.
Use of the theatre is subject to availability, college approval, and applicable facility policies.

Interested in hosting an event at the CACC Theatre?
The theatre may be available for approved events hosted by outside organizations, community groups, and other entities.
To request use of the facility, complete the Theatre & Performing Arts Center Use Application and contact April Johnson for information about availability, approval, and scheduling.
