On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, CACC received notice that a faculty member on the Childersburg campus tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is currently quarantined and under the care of a medical provider in accordance with public health protocols. As outlined in our Fall ReOpening Plan, protocols set forth, and CDC guidelines, all members of personnel who had direct contact with this the faculty member have been notified and these individuals have been asked to self-quarantine for the next 14 days.
CACC is following all medical protocols from state and national health authorities and will continue all efforts in compliance with social distancing, face coverings, and travel limitations.
The College is committed to keeping you updated on the local COVID-19 risk and will provide direction to staff, faculty, students, and families with additional instruction as appropriate.
