Trojan Presidential Elite Scholarship

Deadline February 15, 2024

Students are required to have a minimum. 3.00 GPA. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program of study and maintain full-time status with a cumulative 3.0 GPA. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $3,800 per academic year, not to exceed two years, or completion of program of study, whichever occurs first.

Trojan Excellence Scholarship

Deadline February 15, 2024

Students are required to have a minimum. 2.5 GPA. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program of study and maintain full-time status with a cumulative 2.5 GPA. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $1,900 per academic year, not to exceed two years, or completion of program of study, whichever occurs first

Trojan Ambassador Scholarship

Students are required to have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program of study and maintain full-time status with a cumulative 2.5 GPA. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $4,000 per academic year, not to exceed two years, or completion of program of study, whichever occurs first

CACC High School Valedictorian Scholarship

Deadline February 15, 2024

Students are required to be the high school valedictorian for the graduating Class of 2024 and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $1,900 for one academic year.

CACC Dual to Graduation Scholarship

Deadline February 15, 2024

Students are required to have enrolled or be enrolled as a dual high school student with CACC prior to high school graduation with the Class of 2024 and have a minimum 2.5 CACC GPA after Fall 2022. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $1,900 for one academic year.

CACC ACT/SAT Scholarship

Deadline February 15, 2024

Students are required to have a minimum of a 30 ACT or 1370 SAT score and be a graduating high school student of the Class of 2024 with a minimum 3.5 high school GPA. Recipients will be enrolled in a degree seeking program. This scholarship will cover in-state tuition and specific fees up to $1,900 for one academic year.

The University of Alabama is offering a two-year UA Community College Presidential Scholarship to CACC students. The CACC Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee may nominate up to 4 students. Nominated students will be sent to UA for consideration. Deadline to apply January 31, 2024

University of Alabama Birmingham

The University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) is offering a two-year UAB Presidential Transfer Scholarship to 2 CACC students. The CACC Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee may nominate up to 5 students. Nominated students will be sent to UAB for consideration. Deadline to apply January 31, 2024

Auburn University Montgomery

Auburn University Montgomery is offering an AUM Community College Presidential Scholarship to CACC students. The CACC Scholarship and Financial Aid Committee may nominate CACC students. Nominated students will be sent to AUM for consideration. Deadline to apply February 15, 2024

Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship

Deadline March 1, 2024

The Gene Haas Foundation’s primary goal is to build skills in the machining industry by providing scholarships for CNC technology students and NIMS credentials. To be considered, applicants must be seeking a certificate/degree in Machine Shop. In addition, a previously attended CACC student must have a CACC 2.0 GPA.

Nemak USA Scholarship

Nemak USA is a leading provider of innovative lightweighting solutions for the global automotive industry, specializing in the development and manufacturing of aluminum components for powertrain and body structure applications. To be considered, applicants must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), have been a dual enrolled CACC student and a high school graduate with a graduating GPA of a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale from B.B. Comer High School, Childersburg High School, Fayetteville High School, Sylacauga High School, Winterboro High School, Central Coosa High School, Central High School of Clay County, or Benjamin Russell High School in an Electronics, Machine Shop, Industrial Maintenance (Automotive), or Welding (Machining) program of study.

Central Alabama Community College offers competitive scholarships to qualified students. Scholarship applications are available on the website. Application must be on Central Alabama Scholarship Application forms and be accompanied by all required documents as listed on the application.

Properly completed applications should be submitted to the appropriate address listed on the scholarship application by the announced deadline. The deadline for applying for institutional scholarships at the College is February 15 of each year and awards are typically announced by May 1.
