Carpentry Helper
Program Overview
This program introduces students to the foundational skills needed to assist in residential and commercial construction projects. Training includes the safe use of hand and power tools, basic blueprint reading, framing techniques, measuring and cutting materials, and site preparation. Students gain hands-on experience in supporting skilled carpenters with tasks such as material handling, layout, and structural assembly. Upon completion, graduates are prepared for entry-level employment as carpenter helpers on construction crews, renovation teams, or maintenance departments.
