Excavator

Program Overview

This program trains students in the operation of excavators used in construction, demolition, trenching, and site development. Instruction includes equipment safety, operational controls, excavation techniques, soil types, load handling, and routine maintenance. Students gain hands-on experience maneuvering excavators in simulated job-site environments, developing the precision and awareness required for real-world applications. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions as heavy equipment operators in construction, utilities, roadwork, and other earth-moving industries.
